WHO WE ARE

Learning Kerb Driver Training was founded by Martin Norry, a professional commercial driver who after many years making a living behind the wheel decided to give it all up and make a living, well, behind the wheel.

Martin’s initial foray into the world of driver training centred around learner drivers for passenger vehicles but, coupled with his previous experience and a change in licensing laws, soon expanded to incorporate Train-To-Tow.

Driven (pardon the pun) by the ever changing and increasingly complex challenges of driving, Martin then sought to introduce additional elements to the business, such as classroom based theory lessons, motor bike training.

The company ethos is simple; patience, practice, persistance and professionalism, an ethos that’s underwritten by the success of our students. Being patient with students, persisting when things seem tough and ensuring a professional approach at all times is key to creating an enjoyable and rewarding experience. These attributes, if carried forward, will also make for better drivers too.

Recently, Learning Kerb Driver Training has invested in a purpose built driver training centre with classroom facilities and a ‘real’ road, enabling apprehensive drivers the opportunity to experience everyday hazards without the risk. Our facility also allows for more time in perfecting manouvers, both with car and trailer.
